I believe that this is a fundamental truth, part of philosophia prima. Yet as a philosopher, I must symbolically continue to hit this idea with a hammer to see how solid this truth can be. In simpler terms, what if this idea is NOT a fundamental truth? It seems that this Truth contains enough space for individual subjectivity and intersubjectivity, yet still remains pragmatic enough for all individuals. It also highlights the privilege that we have in the Western world, in the fact that we have inherited a reality where others before us have already figured out and articulated a meta-blueprint (that encompasses all specific blueprints) towards living a meaningful life. However, to return to the why behind the part of my EuroPhilo tour where I will be visiting the graves of famous philosophers, one question remains: how do we die a meaningful death?
That will be the question that I will be repeatedly meditating on while spending time at the graves of the dead philosophers. However, this tour will not just consist of visiting graves, but I am also reaching out to any other philosophers or anyone interested in philosophy to meet up (maybe at a café or something) so that we can all connect minds and have philosophical discussions around some fundamental questions. I have attached a photo of a rough guide of when and where I will be during my EuroPhilo Tour down below. I would love to hear from you, so don’t hesitate to send me a Direct message via my Instagram page @daseinthephilosopher or my Facebook page “Dasein The Philosopher” if you are interested in meeting up and participate in these discussions. My mission as a philosopher is to simplify philosophy enough so that it can be accessible to everyone, even the non-philosopher so that we can all hopefully live more meaningful lives.
Anyway, that is all for now, hope everyone has a great day and I look forward to meeting all of you that share a passion of philosophy!
See you soon,
-Dasein The Philosopher
